DUII arrest? At 9:57 p.m. Wednesday, Warrenton police arrested James Alan Lewis, 53, of 320 Lake Drive, Hammond, for driving under the influence of intoxicants after he reportedly drove his semi truck into the Hammond Marina and onto the dock, destroying the dock and knocking down fencing. Lewis was arrested and taken to Clatsop County Jail, where he was cited and given a conditional release. His semi was towed.
Assault arrest? At 4:46 p.m. Wednesday, a woman told Warrenton police her boyfriend beat her up at their apartment on the 100 block of Southwest Birch Avenue and he was still there with the couple's two small children. Warrenton police arrested Raul Cruz Cayetano, 23, for fourth-degree assault and harassment and lodged him at Clatsop County Jail. He was set to be arraigned today in circuit court.
Thefts and burglaries? At 9 a.m.Tuesday, a burglary was reported at a residence on the 34800 block of Highway 101 Business.
? At 12:49 p.m. Tuesday, Link's Outdoor, 1254 Commercial St., reported a theft.
? At 2:15 p.m. Tuesday, a theft was reported on the 800 block of Fifth Avenue in Warrenton.
? At 3:41 p.m. Tuesday, a box of tools was reported stolen from a porch on the 100 block of Lincoln Street in Astoria.
? At 9:52 a.m. Wednesday, Clatsop Truck and Equipment, 34655 Airport Lane, reported it had been burglarized. Warrenton police are investigating.
? At 3:34 p.m. Wednesday, Coast Coffee at 1154 Commercial St. reported someone emptied the tip jar.
Vandalism? At 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, Astoria police began investigating a report that a window had been shot out at a residence on the 600 block of 43rd Street.
? At 6:36 a.m. Wednesday, Warrenton police got a report that a vehicle at the Warrenton boat basin had been entered and damaged. The case is being investigated as criminal mischief and unlawful entry of a motor vehicle.
