Pacific Northwest Occupational Therapy will be celebrating National Occupational Therapy Month in April, and its second year in business, with an open house from 1 to 5 p.m. April 16 at 1396 Duane St. All are welcome.

There will be refreshments and an opportunity to learn more about occupational therapy, a health profession that helps individuals be independent in their everyday activities or "occupations."

Pacific Northwest Occupational Therapy will also present free educational workshops in local assisted living facilities during April, along with visits to physician offices and insurance companies.
