April 11

12:30 p.m., Northbound from Cannon Beach: Caller reporting person throwing litter from window of car while en route from Cannon Beach to Seaside and riding the brake as they drove. Caller did not wish to sign a complaint. Officer was unable to locate vehicle.

6:54 p.m., Northbound on U.S. Highway 101: Caller reporting road rage incident where person flipped him off. Caller called back to say vehicle pulled into Sea Breeze Restaurant. Caller transferred to Oregon State Police.

April 12

9:30 a.m., U.S. Highway 101 Northbound: Caller reported driver swerving and nearly hit semi-truck head on. Officer initiated traffic stop. Driver to be submitted to DMV for retest. Driver given courtesy ride to local business.

2:23 p.m., 300 block of Ninth Avenue: Caller reported girlfriend breaking up with him and taking his money. Officers responded, parties separated and disturbance ended.

8:51 p.m., 400 block of North Prom: Third-party caller reporting person passed out in vehicle that was running. Officer made contact with person, who had just come out to sleep in vehicle. She was a guest at the motel and would return to her room. She had been drinking.

April 13

11:16 a.m., 12th Avenue east of Roosevelt Drive: Officer assisted motorist whose wheel had fallen off his truck/trailer. Motorist awaiting AAA response. Officer provided traffic control.

12:20 p.m., 100 block of South Holladay Drive: Caller reported kids throwing things into the river and making a dog chase them. She was concerned for the welfare of the dog. Officer responded and found the dog healthy and happy and wanting to play still.

April 14

11:31 a.m., 500 block of North Prom: 911 caller reported male unknown to her, sitting on her porch in a bathrobe. Officers contacted subject and trespassed him from property.

11:25 p.m., In the area of Third Avenue: Caller reported subject screaming "like a drug addict." Officers arrived and were unable to locate anything or anyone screaming.

April 15

2:39 a.m., 1700 block of South Downing Street: Caller reporting loud music and would like to sign a complaint. Officers arrived and issued a citation to the responsible.

5:44 a.m., 1400 block of North Wahanna Road: Caller reporting suspicious people across the street dressed in black. Officers contacted the subjects, and there was no entry into the garage they were near.

April 16

1:17 a.m., 400 block of South Roosevelt Drive: Caller reporting a subject who was trespassed earlier was lurking on the property. Officer escorted employee to her car and was unable to locate the man.

6:11 a.m., 700 block of South Wahanna Road: Hospital employee reporting a man driving in the parking lot yelling at himself. Officers located the subject ; he was upset and feeling he was treated poorly at the ER.

11:59 p.m., 1100 block of South Holladay Drive: Report of an intoxicated, "troubled woman." Officers made contact, she was given a courtesy ride home and dropped off to a responsible.

April 17

14:10 p.m., 3100 block of Sunset Boulevard: Caller reported finding a corgi but didn't want to turn it in. Later caller reported she turned it into the pet clinic. Officer responded and impounded the dog.

6:58 p.m., 500 block of South Downing Street: Caller reported evidence of a break-in. Officer responded and found no evidence of a break-in, just some scrapes on the floor.

April 18

12:46 a.m., 300 block of Broadway: Report of an intoxicated male harassing women. Officers made contact, no crime committed. The bar did not want him back.

12:27 p.m., Neawanna River: Caller reporting suspicious male pacing and walking in the park. Officer advised and he informed that he was checked and nothing suspicious is going on. He has every right to be there.

9:46 p.m., 1000 block of South Downing Street: Caller reporting person knocking on door causing a disturbance. Officer responded and advised persons were trying to wake intoxicated person up to stay the night there. They advised they would stay elsewhere for the night.

April 19

6:48 a.m., 200 block of South Columbia Street: Caller reported kid riding around on skateboard with a black zip-up hoody that had a skeleton graphic that covered his face, which seemed suspicious. Officers were unable to locate the subject downtown.

12:08 p.m., Avenue A and Broadway: Caller reported male "twisting around," possibly on drugs, walking on Broadway. Officers were on priority calls. Contact later by officers and taken into custody.

8:59 p.m., 400 block of South Roosevelt Drive: Seaside Fire advises of elderly male in middle of street while out on EMS call. Officer located male and advised male was crossing at a diagonal to cross street. Officer warned him of the dangers of doing this and cleared.

April 20

6:03 a.m., 300 block of First Avenue: Caller requesting an officer to drive by. She was changing a reader board this morning and was concerned at the recent occurrence of transients sleeping in the church doorway. Officer contacted the female and assured her she was safe.

10:29 a.m., 300 block of South Roosevelt Drive: 911 caller reported disturbance involving couple with one throwing store items and trying to run each other down in car. Officers responded and contacted couple, who reported it was only a verbal disturbance, and neither wished to pursue charges against the other.

2:27 p.m., Oregon Street and 25th Avenue: Caller reported dogs left in a car for extended period of time. Officer reported dogs healthy. Visiting from out of town but dogs are being cared for.

April 21

12:23 a.m., 400 block of Hillside Loop: Caller reporting a man eating out of his garbage can. Officers arrived, and the man had left the area.

11:52 p.m., Roosevelt Drive and Fourth Avenue: Subject called 911 to report her friend dropped her off on the side of the road because they were fighting. Officers responded to a verbal disagreement between two parties.

April 22

12:19 a.m., 700 block of Broadway: Officer flagged down for a found bike. Subject left bike and chained the tree instead of the bike. Intoxication was a factor. Bike placed in found property at Seaside Police Department.

3:38 p.m., 600 block of North Wahanna Road: Caller wanted to report her granddaughter as a runaway. Prior to dispatch, she called back and stated her granddaughter was found by her grandfather and police assistance was not needed.

10:35 p.m., Broadway and Columbia Avenue: Caller reporting a vehicle traveling the wrong way down Broadway. Officer arrived, checked the area, but was unable to locate the vehicle.

April 23

11:17 a.m., North Roosevelt Drive: Visitors Bureau dropped off found razor scooter at Seaside Police Department.

6:07 p.m., 400 block of South Roosevelt Drive: Officer made contact, unfounded call: not smoking drugs. Officer cleared.

April 24

1:17 p.m., 400 block of South Roosevelt Drive: Report of needle in bushes front of store. Officer responded, retrieved and disposed of. No further.

4:32 p.m., 70 block of Third Avenue: Caller reported seeing someone go into the crawl space under a house. Officers responded; determined to be the plumber.
