A painting was stolen from the Cannery Pier Hotel last week.
Now police are hoping for the publics help in recovering it.
At 4:20 p.m. Friday, Astoria Police responded to a report from the hotel at 10 Basin Street. The painting, which depicts swimming salmon, is believed to have been stolen between 2 and 4 p.m.
The painting, Running Wild measures at 36-inches by 36-inches and is an original canvas. It is estimated at $2,700.
So far there are no suspects in the case.
