The 2010 season is looking a lot like the 2008 season, the year the Astoria Fishermen and Knappa Loggers both won state titles.

Both schools are now the front runners at the Class 4A and 2A levels, respectively.

Astoria took over the No. 1 spot in the Associated Press Top 10 poll, released Tuesday; while the Loggers are the top-ranked team in the latest OSAA Power Rankings.

The Loggers are coming off a 52-16 win over 10th-ranked Gaston.
