SEASIDE — “Caring for Children Who Have Experienced Trauma,” a program of the National Child Traumatic Stress Network, will be held from 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesdays May 8 to June 26 at Our Saviour’s Lutheran Church, 320 First Ave. in Seaside. There is no cost for the workshop.

This weekly interactive workshop is designed to help parents, caregivers, and foster parents learn more about: how trauma affects children’s development and behavior; how to more effectively parent a traumatized child; how to advocate for the child’s trauma-specific needs; and how to help the child develop resiliency and better care for themselves. Attendance at all classes is not essential.

To register, or for information, call Hope House at 503-325-6754.
