LONGVIEW, Wash. - Willapa Hills Audubon Society will partner with Lower Columbia College and the Longview (Wash.) Library to present Robert Michael Pyle, author of "Sky Time in Grays River: Living for Keeps in a Forgotten Place," at a free meet the author reception at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday at the art gallery of the Longview Library, 1600 Louisiana St. in Longview.

A reading and program will follow the reception at 7 p.m. in the lower floor auditorium of the Longview Library.

A workshop will be held from 2:30 to 4:30 p.m. at the Lower Columbia College Admissions Center, Room 143, for students and anyone interested.

Pyle, a professional writer since 1982, has published hundreds of papers, essays, stories and poems, and has received many awards. He is also an expert lepidopterist and lifelong naturalist and conservationist.
