The American Red Cross will hold a New Volunteer Orientation class at 6 p.m. Tuesday and a Preparedness Leadership course at 2 p.m. Feb. 15 at the Astoria Red Cross Office, 1054 Exchange St.

Three other training classes are available in February at the Astoria office: Adult Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)/Automated External Defibrillators (AED) and First Aid, 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Feb. 14; Professional Rescuer CPR/AED, 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Feb. 25; and Pediatric CPR/AED and First Aid 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Feb. 28.

Blood drives are scheduled for 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Feb. 9 at Columbia Memorial Hospital, 2111 Exchange St. in Astoria; and 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Feb. 10 at the U.S. Coast Guard Air Station Group Astoria, 2185 S.E. 12th Place in Warrenton.
