SEASIDE - Providence Seaside Hospital Foundation's Seventh Annual St. Nicholas Festival of Trees will be held Dec. 4 at the Seaside Civic and Convention Center. Reservations are required and cost is $75 per person, or $50 each if reserved before Saturday.

Proceeds from the event will benefit Providence Community Care, the hospital's free medical and dental clinic for low-income persons, and other programs sponsored by Providence Seaside Hospital Foundation.

The Saturday morning preview is a new opportunity to preview the decorated trees before they are auctioned. It will be from 10 a.m. to noon Dec. 4. Santa will be there for a photo opportunity with children or pets. Admission is $2 per person, with an additional charge for photographs with Santa.

The auction will highlight a handcrafted Blue Christmas quilt, a Bob Byerley painting, "A Thousand Hours Till Morning," a trip for two to Maui, Supper Club for twelve at Cannon Beach Cooking School, a Lewis and Clark tree, a tree featuring a family of bicycles, and a tree decorated with 100 different Hallmark Santa ornaments.

Call Leslie Shepard at 717-7600 for information or to reserve a table for 10 or more.
