WARRENTON — An Elder Abuse Prevention and Response Workshop will be held from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. May 19 at the city of Warrenton Council Chambers in City Hall, 225 S. Main Ave.

The workshop will be presented by Kathryn Burr of the Clatsop County Women’s Resource Center and Michelle Lewis of the NorthWest Seniors and Disability Service, in partnership with the United Methodist Church of Warrenton.

Donations will be accepted to provide stipends to the presenters and to cover supplies. Those attending should bring a sandwich to share, potluck style. Simple condiments and munchies will be available. Coffee and water will be provided.

This workshop session is designed to be of interest to elderly citizens, family members and caretakers. Awareness, identification, response and prevention issues will be included.
