WARRENTON — Next school year, students who get to school early can join Warrenton Grade School’s new Rise and Shine Club, led by Coach Chris Spencer, from 7:20 to 7: 50 a.m. each school day. Students will participate in activities, sports and games designed to promote good fitness and to improve coordination.

This is a no-cost opportunity for students, and all grade levels are welcome.

“We think this is a win/win for all involved,” says Superintendent Mark Jeffery.

“Students are encouraged to be healthy, start their day in a positive way and it allows our parents to get to work on time.”

For information, contact the Warrenton-Hammond School District Office at (503) 861-2281.
