Work continues on several Oregon Department of Transportation projects around the area this week:

Old Youngs Bay Bridge Rehabilitation

The contractor is continuing installation of new walkways on the drawbridge. Truss repair work will start next week. Drivers can expect daily lane closures with minor delays from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Friday throughout August.

The bridge will be closed to vehicular traffic from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. Monday and Tuesday.

33rd Street to Hamburg Avenue Pavement Overlay

Demolition of old sidewalks will continue for the next few weeks, along with new sidewalk construction. Electrical conduit installation in the sidewalk tunnels will begin next week.

U.S. Highway 30 - Clatsop County Line to Supply Creek Pavement Overlay

Expect 10- to 15-minute nighttime traffic delays for guardrail work. Sidewalk construction in Westport continues.

U.S. Highway 101-Oregon Highway 202 Intersection - Astoria Roundabout

Roadway and curb construction continues. Minor traffic delays are anticipated.
