Republican presidential candidate Mitt Romney took on U.S. trade policy during a speech at the Microsoft campus in Redmond, Wash., Thursday. Amy Radil reports Romney told Microsoft employees he'd push for free trade "everywhere in the world."

According to the Oregonian's Jeff Mapes he visits Portland Friday morning for the second time in three months.

Tickets to the closed-door fundraiser at the Governor Hotel ranged from $500 for breakfast to $2,500 a couple for a photo session with the candidate, Mapes said.

As in previous trips to the state, he will stay out of the public eye this time, and the press is not allowed at the fundraiser.

Romney will likely return in the spring.
