SEASIDE - Jeremy Schling, 3, and his brother Kenneth, 7, of Gearhart take part in the 5th annual Seaside Safety Fair at the Seaside Fire Department May 19.

The fair is an annual community event to help teach children how to be safe.

The event included a bike rodeo and child safety seat inspection along with a wide range of booths providing information on poison safety, electrical safety, pedestrian safety, water safety, fire safety and other tips and information for children and their parents.

The bike rodeo included a bicycle inspection, safety helmet inspection and a bicycle skills course.
