SEASIDE - The kids of Seaside had their first bike rodeo experience Saturday. According to Seaside Police Chief Bob Gross, 25 kids turned out for the first Bicycle Safety Rodeo.

Each child in attendance left the rodeo with a bike safety-related prize and two children left with brand new bikes courtesy of Prom Bike & Hobby Shop.

Winner of the boys bike was Magnus McWilliams, 7, of Seaside, and winner of the girls bike was Hannah Robbins, 9, of Cannon Beach.

The next Bicycle Safety Rodeo is planned for Sept. 8 in anticipation of the beginning of the new school year.
