SEASIDE — Only one of three Seaside City Council positions up for election is being contested, while incumbents will retain the seats they have held for 12 years.

City Councilor Tim Tolan, who holds the at-large position for Wards 1 and 2, is moving out of the area, causing a vacancy in that position. Seeking election are Gini Dideum and Randy Frank.
