Sherry L. Schock, 59, of Seaside, died Wednesday, Feb. 1, 2006 in Seaside.
She was born Jan. 22, 1947 in Glendale, Calif., to Loren and Ruby (Harger) Hibarger.
Raised in Glendale, she moved to Florence in 1974. She worked as a bartender, in the restaurant business and as a cook at Camp Florence for Juvenile Offenders.
She married Lawrence Schock. He preceded her in death.
Because of declining health, she moved to Seaside to be near family in May of 2005.
Mrs. Schock is survived by one daughter, Sara J. Walsh of Seaside; one son, Jeffrey P. Schock of Kent, Wash., and two grandchildren, Megan and Kevin Walsh of Seaside.
She was preceded in death by her long-time partner, Leonard Faulkenbury in 2003.
At Mrs. Schock's request, there will be no formal service.
