Single-lane closures are scheduled today, Wednesday and Thursday for the Lewis and Clark Bridge across the Columbia River between Longview, Wash., and Rainier. The single-lane closures start at 9:30 p.m. each evening and the bridge opens to regular, two-lane traffic at 5:30 a.m. Wednesday, Thursday and Friday morning.

The bridge will be open to two-lane traffic starting this Friday morning at 5:30 a.m. and continuing until 9:30 p.m. Sunday evening, when traffic will be reduced to one-lane until 5:30 a.m. Monday. Single-lane night-time closures from 9:30 p.m. to 5:30 a.m. will continue next week, through April 29, opening to regular two-lane traffic at 5:30 a.m. April 30.

All bridge closures depend on the weather and may have to be cancelled and immediately rescheduled. For the latest information, phone the Lewis & Clark Bridge Deck Replacement Project Hotline, toll free, at (866) 427-4630, or go to the project's Web page (www.wsdot.wa.gov/projects/lewisclarkbridge) or listen to highway advisory radio stations AM 1580 or AM 530.
