CANNON BEACH - Cannon Beach's Stormy Weather Arts Festival goes skateboarding this weekend, as Fultano's Pizza presents a special show in conjunction with the massive art and music festival. The show features skateboarding photographs by famed national photographers Ed Dominick and Eric Guizzetti, as well as local videographer Michael Henderson. The art showing also serves as a fundraiser for the expanded skate park for Cannon Beach.
Guizzetti is a senior photographer for Thrasher Magazine. Dominick works with Transworld Magazine, among others. Both shoot arty, complex and cutting edge photographs of extreme boardsports.
Henderson is a Cannon Beach resident who is on the skate park committee. He will be showing his photographs as well as selling copies of his video.
The photographs will be available for purchase, with all proceeds going to fund the skate park. Viewings will be held from 4 to 9 p.m. today and from 11:30 a.m. to 9 p.m. Saturday at Fultano's, 200 N. Hemlock St. For information, call (503) 436-9717.
