JEWELL - The 28th annual smorgasbord benefit for the Jewell Memorial Scholarship Fund will be held at 5 p.m. Saturday at Jewell School.

On the menu will be meatballs, ham, turkey, assorted salads, scalloped potatoes, homemade rolls and dessert. Coffee, milk and punch will also be served.

There will be an oral auction, silent auctions, multi-raffle and a main raffle item, a hand-crafted quilt. Door prizes for all ages will be distributed throughout the event.

The money raised by this event goes into a fund for scholarships to graduating seniors of Jewell School.

Contributions in the form of merchandise or money are welcome.

Tickets are $7.50 for adults, $5 for seniors, and $4.50 for children 6 to 12 years old. There is no cost for children less than 6 years old.
