The Finnish Brotherhood Astoria Lodge No. 2, the Finnish American Folk Festival and Appelo Archives Center in Naselle, Wash., will present a lecture by Finlandia Foundation National’s Lecturer of the Year, folklorist and author Yvonne Lockwood, on Finnish American rag rug weaving traditions at 6:30 p.m. today at Suomi Hall, 244 W. Marine Drive. There is no cost to attend the event, but donations will be accepted. Refreshments will be served after the lecture.
