Several town hall meetings being held Saturday and Sunday will provide an opportunity for community members to talk with state Sen. Betsy Johnson and state Reps. Brad Witt and Deborah Boone about funding priorities and legislative issues.

On Saturday, Johnson and Boone will hold town meetings in Nehalem, Tillamook and Pacific City. The first meeting will be from 9 to 10:30 a.m. at the North Coast Recreation District Gallery Room, 36155 Ninth St. in Nehalem; the second meeting will be from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Tillamook 4-H Dormitory, Tillamook County Fairgrounds, 4603 E. Third St. in Tillamook; and the third meeting will take place from 2 to 3:30 p.m. in the Pacific Coast Bible Church, central building, 35170 Brooten Road in Pacific City.

There will be four town hall meetings Sunday: in Seaside, Astoria, Clatskanie and Scappoose.

From 10 to 11:30 a.m. Sunday, Johnson and Boone will be at a Seaside town hall meeting at the Rivertide Suites Condominium Hotel, fourth floor, Neawanna Meeting Room, 102 N. Holladay Drive in Seaside.

The Astoria town hall meeting will be held from noon to 1:30 p.m. at the Columbia River Maritime Museum Kern Room, 1792 Marine Drive. Boone, Johnson and Witt will attend this meeting.

From 2:30 to 4 p.m. Sunday, a meeting will be held at the Clatskanie River Inn, 600 E. Columbia River Highway in Clatskanie. Both Witt and Johnson will be at the Clatskanie meeting.

Witt and Johnson will also attend the town hall meeting in Scappoose from 5 to 6:30 p.m. Sunday at the Coffee Bar, 33444 Havlik Drive.
