Hilda Lahti Elementary School will offer the Strengthening Families Program for parents, caregivers and youths age 10 to 14 beginning March 11 with a free dinner that will be served at 5:30 p.m. Program activities for parents and youth will take place from 6 to 8 p.m. Interactive childcare for younger children will be provided.

Strengthening Families is designed to help parents build on their strengths in showing love and setting limits, help youth develop skills in handling peer pressure and help families grow together. The program is a partnership of Hilda Lahti Elementary and LifeWorks NW, and is funded in part by the Clatsop County Commission on Children and Families.

To register, call Hilda Lahti School at (503) 458-6162.
