SVENSEN - Clatsop County Sheriff's Deputies investigated another possible incident concerning a prowler in the Svensen and Knappa areas Wednesday night.

Det. Kristen Hanthorn said there was a report of a suspicious person outside a house on Miracle Drive. She said deputies checked the area using the department's K-9 unit but were unable to find anyone.

This latest sighting is one of a string of incidents that has residents in the area on edge. In late October the same prowler is believed to have entered a home in the Svensen area while a family was inside asleep.

More than 70 area residents came together Tuesday to discuss the matter with sheriff's deputies who told them to lock their doors, leave lights on and report any suspicious behavior.
