North Coast Parenting and the Clatsop County Juvenile Department are offering a workshop on technology impacts on children.

“Plugged In: The Neurological, Interpersonal and Personal Impact of Technology-Only Entertainment” will be offered from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. May 24 at the Guy Boyington Building, 857 Commercial St., Astoria.

Dr. Doreen Dodgen-Magee, a clinical psychologist in Portland, will describe how technology overuse impacts growth and development in children’s neurological function and development of a sense of self.
