Terence Jacob Johnson, 52, of Seaside, died Wednesday, April 26, 2006, from cancer at his home in Seaside.

He was born May 11, 1953 in Astoria to Jacob and Marcella Johnson. His father died earlier. His mother survives, residing in Seaside

As a child, Mr. Johnson moved with his family to California, returning to the Astoria area when he was 12 years old. He graduated from Seaside High School and attended Portland State University. He lived in Portland and worked in the music business for many years, including Paramount NW and Double Tee Concerts, before returning to Seaside in 1988.

In addition to his mother, he is survived by one brother, Michael Johnson of Seaside; two sisters and one brother-in-law, Sharon Johnson of Lincoln City and Susan and David J-Doerr of Rainier; two nephews, James Carmichael of Astoria and Samuel Carmichael of Seaside; an aunt, MaryAnn Mansigh-Karlsen of Livermore, Calif; and numerous uncles, aunts and cousins in the Astoria area.

There will be a memorial at 10 a.m. Saturday at Hughes-Ransom Chapel, 220 N. Holladay Drive in Seaside.

Memorial contributions may be made to Lower Columbia Hospice, 486 12th St., Astoria, OR 97103.
