Three cruise ships will visit Astoria Monday, bringing with them more than 5,000 passengers and about 2,000 crew members. This is the first time in Oregon's cruising history that three ships have docked in the same city at once.

The Holland America Line ships Zaandam and Amsterdam will dock at Pier 1 at the Port of Astoria, while the Norwegian Cruise Line's Norwegian Sun will anchor off of the 17th Street pier and ferry passengers to shore.

The ships will start arriving at 7 a.m. The last is scheduled to depart at 7:30 p.m.

Shuttle busses will run throughout the day to carry passengers between the Columbia River Maritime Museum and the port, where the Never on Sunday Market will be held, with a stop in between at the Liberty Theater.
