TILLAMOOK - State park co-op association volunteers from the Tillamook area are the recipients of the Oregon Parks and Recreation Department's 2007 Loran L. "Stub" Stewart awards.

Named for a long-time state parks supporter and former OPRD commissioner, the awards recognize significant long and short-term service.

The Friends of Cape Meares Lighthouse and Wildlife Refuge nominated Dick and Freddie Graves of Tillamook for the "Inspiration" award given to recipients who set examples as association activity participants. The Graves were lauded for their consistency and willingness to support group functions over 24 years of service.
