The May 18 primary election ballots go in the mail Friday. Today is the last day to register to vote or to change party affiliation. Election Day, May 18, is the last chance to turn in ballots. They must be delivered to the Clatsop County Clerk's Office, 820 Exchange Street, second floor, Astoria, no later than 8 p.m. that day. Postmarks are not considered. The County Clerk's Office will be open from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. May 18.
