The Oregon and Washington departments of transportation provide updates on construction projects in the area:

• Oregon Highway 202, Frankfort St. to Olney Cutoff Road (Nehalem Highway, mileposts 1.0 to 10.5)

• Concrete repair work between mileposts 1.2-1.4 will begin Monday. This project is funded by the Oregon Transportation Investment Act, a highway bonding program created by the 2001 Legislature.

• U.S. Highway 26, Mail Creek Culvert, four miles east of U.S. Highway 101 (Sunset Highway, milepost 4.0)

Expect minor delays for concrete placement for new bridge.

• The tentative full closures of the Lewis and Clark Bridge originally scheduled for tonight has been canceled. Single-lane closures will be taken instead on those nights. Delays to motorists will be limited to 20 minutes.

The bridge is scheduled for full closure nightly next week, from 9:30 p.m. to 5:30 a.m. beginning Sunday, through Oct. 30.

All bridge closures are weather dependent and may have to be canceled and rescheduled. See the project's Web site, (www.wsdot.wa.gov/projects/lewisclarkbridge), for a monthly calendar of scheduled closures.
