I moved to Seaside about almost two years ago, and for the most part love it here, with the exception of one thing: LITTER.

Does anyone else think that the amount of litter in this small town is out of control?

I've participated in three beach clean-ups since I moved here and I think it's a great idea, but what about the rest of the town?

Everyday when I walk my dogs, I bring a bag, not just for something they might leave but to pick up cans, fast food bags, etc. especially in and around the Safeway parking lot. I've seen people coming out of there tossing trash out the window several times.

I know it's not the nicest area in town, but those of us who live there wish those passing thru would stop treating it like there personal dump.

Thanks for letting me vent.
