The Astoria Riverfront Trolley will be out of service the rest of this week because of an electrical problem, Astoria City Manager Dan Bartlett announced today. Astoria Mayor Willis Van Dusen, president of the Astoria Riverfront Trolley Association, made the decision, based on a recommendation from knowledgeable members who had inspected the electrical system. A new line breaker has been ordered from a company in Iowa and is expected to arrive this weekend. Once installed, the trolley will be running again. The trolley is operated by volunteers. It runs every day during the summer and early fall.
