Tropical Storm Flossie is causing flight delays and cancelations. Some airlines at Portland International Airport are being affected on Monday.

As of Monday morning, three Alaska Airlines flights had been canceled out of Portland to Hawaii.

Steve Johnson, a spokesman for the Port of Portland, says the storm can potentially continue to affect flights as it develops.

"The best advice for travelers, if they're traveling to the impacted area, is to check with their airline before they come to the airport, as we could see some delays or further cancelations," Johnson said.

Alaska Airlines has issued a travel advisory and canceled all flights until this afternoon. The carrier is instituting a flexible rebooking policy because of the storm's impact.
