The Oregon Department of Transportation will close the Lewis and Clark River Bridge at mile post 4.78 on U.S. Highway 101-Business from 8 p.m. Monday until 6 a.m. Tuesday. During the closure, ODOT bridge workers will replace two large wooden posts that are in urgent need of replacement.

A detour route will be established using the New Youngs Bay Bridge and Old Youngs Bay Bridge.

Next week, work will continue on U.S. Highway 30 at mile posts 36.47, 55.29, 77.25 and 82.52.

This project consists of bridge repair work at Tide Creek Bridge, Lost Creek Bridge, Gnat Creek Bridge and Big Creek Bridge.

Watch for intermittent alternating one-way traffic controlled by flaggers at Gnat Creek and Big Creek until Thursday. Expect brief delays. Watch for roadside work crews and construction equipment.
