Astoria Middle School is looking for volunteers to begin planning an AMS Chinese Garden Project.

Staff members hope to build on the past efforts of Rebecca Sentgeorge and Dana McMakin, whose classes worked on the Astoria Chinese Garden during service-learning activities.

A meeting Tuesday will present this year's garden project and proposed community involvement.

The meeting begins at 7 p.m. in the library at Astoria Middle School, 1100 Klaskanine Ave.
