WARRENTON - To assist in their search, members of the Warrenton Board of Commissioners are seeking public input on the standards and process for hiring a new city manager.

City residents will have their chance to speak on the issue at a special meeting 1:30 p.m. Monday at city hall in the commission's meeting chambers, said Jim Hough, who is serving as an interim manager for Warrenton.

An additional opportunity for public input on the hiring process will be held at a later date, Hough said.

Following the public part of the meeting the commission will go into executive session to discuss the issue further.

Hough has been acting as interim manager since late October after Scott Derickson left and took the job as Clatsop County administrator.
