The full weekend closure planned this weekend for the Lewis and Clark Bridge at Longview, Wash., has been postponed to the end of the month.

The bridge will be closed to all traffic from Friday, Jan. 30 to Monday, Feb. 2. The original closure, planned to begin this Friday, was cancelled due to the recent winter storm.

The bridge will close at 11:30 p.m. Jan. 30 and reopen at 5:30 a.m. Feb. 2.

Nighttime closures remain scheduled this week and next week, said engineers with the Washington Department of Transportation.

The bridge will be closed to all traffic from 9:30 p.m. to 5:30 a.m. tonight, Wednesday and Thursday nights, as well as Monday night through Thursday night next week.

Up-to-date information on closures is available on the project hotline, (866) 427-4630 or log on the Web at
