LONG BEACH, Wash. - The Washington State Patrol will host a town meeting 6 p.m. Wednesday at the Chautauqua Lodge, 304 N. 14th St., to give the community a chance to express concerns.

Capt. Gail Otto, Washington State Patrol District 8 commander, will lead the meeting. Guests will be Washington State Patrol Chief Ronal Serpas, Deputy Chief Lowell Porter and Pacific County Sheriff John Didion.

The State Patrol is hosting several such meetings around the state to explain the challenges and successes of the patrol. "With the conclusion of the Rod Run and some significant collisions in the area, we wanted to have our first district meeting in the Long Beach area," stated Capt. Otto.

For information, call Trooper Glen Tyrrell at (360) 405-6633.
