ILWACO, Wash. - This week, the Washington Department of Transportation has announced continuing work on a project that adds a pedestrian path from Ridge Street to Sandridge Road along Washington State Route 103, also known as Bay Avenue.
There will be daytime single-lane closures on SR 103, north and southbound for trucks entering and exiting the roadway. Advance warning signs will be in place alerting motorists of the work zone.

Also next week, U.S. Highway 101 will be paved, beginning at the Astoria Bridge, proceeding northwest to Ilwaco, then northeast where it intersects with SR 4. Additional improvements will be made to SR 4 in Wahkiakum County, Wash., such as pavement resurfacing, guardrail and sign replacements where needed, and pavement work.
SR 401 will be resurfaced in Pacific County.
The existing signal at the intersection of U.S. Highway 101 and SR 100 in Ilwaco will be replaced.
A new signal will be installed at the intersection of U.S. Highway 101 and Sandridge Road.
