Astoria is cooperating with directors of "The Ring II" but the coast's wintry weather is not.
Craig van Gundy, location manager, said crews made great progress during the weekend. But more scenes will be shot Tuesday and Thursday nights.
"We don't want to overstay our welcome, but the weather has delayed our work," he said. "And we want to add more shots."
He warns residents about further traffic detours and parking restrictions, first between 6 p.m. and midnight Tuesday.
"One of the reasons we are doing it after 6 p.m. is to have the least impact on the community," he said. "Everyone has been very patient and cooperative so far."
During Tuesday's filming there will be no parking on Marine Drive from 15th Street to Eighth Street. There will be no parking on 12th Street from Marine Drive up to Kensington Avenue.
Thursday's filming will take place 6 p.m. to midnight on 14th and Duane streets. The will be no parking on 14th between the river and Kensington or Duane between 11th and 15th.
Detours similar to those in effect Saturday will be posted both nights.
Movie staff are distributing letters to restaurants and other affected businesses apologizing for the additional disruption.
