Lauren Marissa Archer of Clackamas, daughter of Timothy and Wendee Archer of Clackamas, exchanged wedding vows with J. Scott Womack of Seaside July 30, 2005 by the sea at Cannon Beach. The groom is the son of Jeffrey and Gladys Womack of Seaside and Leslie Womack of Billings, Mont.
The bride was given in marriage by her father. Pastor Gordon Pearson performed the ceremony.
The bride wore a white strapless gown with a full tulle ballroom skirt. The groom wore a tuxedo previously worn by the bride's grandfather Roger Huff when he married the bride's grandmother, Sally. Following their pronouncement, the bride and groom ran to the ocean.
Matron of Honor was Hannah Whaley of Sierra Vista, Calif. The bridesmaids were Tiffany Bagge of Eugene, Michelle Eaton of Sedro Wooley, Wash., Rachel Critchett of Clackamas and Sarah Caffery of Portland.
Best Man was Matthew Sroufe of Seaside. Groomsmen were Corey Wood of Seaside, Matt Stowers of Cannon Beach, and Nathan and Zach Archer of Clackamas.
The bride is a 2000 graduate of Clackamas High School and works as a trainer at U.S. Bank in Portland. The groom is a 2001 graduate of Seaside High School and is an authorized shipper for UPS in Portland.
A reception held at the Surfsand Resort's Haystack Gardens in Cannon Beach followed the ceremony.
The couple honeymooned in Sandpoint, Idaho, and plans to make their home in Denver, Colo.
