The Clatsop County Women's Resource Center is in need of volunteers and will be offering its next volunteer training to those individuals interested in assisting women, individuals and families in Clatsop County.

Training sessions will be held from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. May 12 and 19 and June 9 and 16.

Some of the topics covered include the dynamics of domestic and sexual violence, peer counseling, listening skills, role-playing, oppression, anti-racism and community resource information.

The WRC offers a variety of volunteer opportunities to those who successfully complete the training.
