Andrew Oscar Albertsen

Astoria resident, 80Andrew Oscar Albertsen, 80, of Astoria, died Sunday, March 28, 2004 in Providence Hospital in Milwaukie.

Mr. Albertsen was born March 23, 1924 in Astoria to Mr. and Mrs. John Albertsen.

He served in the U.S. Navy in the South Pacific during World War II.

He married Eldora Irene Fought. She died in 1998.

Mr. Albertsen was a fisherman. He liked fishing with his father.

He is survived by a son Michael Andrew Albertsen of Milwaukie; a step-son, Ronald Josephson; two step-daughters, Lori Motto and Barbara Hauke; two grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; a brother, Victor Andy Albertsen of Seaside; and two sisters, Jane Erickson of Forest Grove and Johanna Ann Schmidlen of Surprise, Ariz.

A memorial service was held April 2 at the Willamette National Cemetery.
