Eloise O. Boldt

Former Astoria resident, 93Eloise O. Boldt, 93, of Salem, died Monday, Oct. 20, 2003 in Salem.

Mrs. Boldt was born Nov. 22, 1909 in Laport, Texas to Walter and Mary Fairchild. She moved with her family to Portland and was a longtime Astoria resident. She moved to Salem after the death of her husband, Roy.

She was very active in Eastern Star and other women's Masonic orders, and was a lifelong Methodist.

Mrs. Boldt is survived by a son, Robert Boldt of Salem; two grandchildren, Michael Boldt of Medford and Shelly McAdams of Centralia, Wash.; four grandchildren; and a niece, Louise Adams of Olympia, Wash.

A memorial will be 2 p.m. Thursday at Willamette Lutheran Retirement Home in Salem.

A graveside service will be 2 p.m. Friday at Ocean View Cemetery in Warrenton.

Memorial contributions may be made to Shriners Hospitals for Children, 3101 S.W. Sam Jackson Park Road, Portland, OR 97201.

Virgil T. Golden Funeral Service is in charge of arrangements.
