Beverly J. Campbell-Graves died June 13, 2002, in Portland.

Mrs. Campbell-Graves was born June 5, 1932 in Astoria to Andrew A. and Virginia Masten-Larson.

Her family moved to Beaverton in 1942 where she graduated from Beaverton High School in 1950. She attended Providence Hospital School of Nursing. She was a graduate of Marie Easterly School of Modeling and was a student of Marcielle Renoix School of Ballet.

Most of her working career was spent in the medical field where she worked at St. Mary's Hospital in Astoria and Albany General Hospital in Albany. From 1981 to 1990 she worked as a pharmacy assistant at the Medicine Shoppe in Albany.

In 1952, she married Garth Cloninger, had two sons and divorced in 1956. In 1958 she married Don Dugan and had two daughters. They divorced in 1970.

She then married Robert T. Campbell in 1974. He died earlier.

Mrs. Campbell-Graves was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church and also attended St. Cecelia Parish in Beaverton, Sacred Heart Parish in Newport and St. Edwards Parish in Lebanon.

In 1990 she moved to Portland and married Robert J. Graves on Nov. 29. He survives.

She lived for her family and friends and loved cooking, gardening, flowers, reading and traveling with her husband in their motor coach and spending winters in Palm Desert.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by two sons, Kurt Dugan and his wife, Sandy, of Dallas, Ore., and Kevin Dugan and his wife, Lynda, of Portland; two daughters, Kimberly Chambers and her husband, Rodney, of Albany, and Kellie Riesen and her husband, Jon, of Tualatin; five step-daughters Lynne Smith and her husband, Brad, of Portland, Victoria Graves-Norquist and her husband, Jerry, of Sisters, Mary Oja and her husband, Scott, of Gresham, Elaine Graves of Washington, D.C., and Anne Squires and her husband, Steve, of Gresham; one step-son, Jay Graves, of Portland; 14 grandchildren, Justin, Josie and Abby Chambers, Sarah Dugan, Christopher McFetridge, Audrey and Andrew Riesen, Angelina Daily, Peter, Simon, Monica and Zachary Graves, Katie-Lynne Thompson and Bo Squires; her brother Roger Larson and his wife Anita; a sister-in-law, Teddy Graves, of Depoe Bay; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Contributions can be made to Providence Hospice.

A funeral mass will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, June 18 at St. Therese Catholic Church, N.E. 132nd and Halsey St. in Albany, with a reception following in the parish hall. Interment will be at Skyline Memorial Gardens.
