Clifford Jay Mann, 58, of Seaside, died Monday, April 12, 2010, in Seaside.

He was born Dec. 3, 1951, in Denver, to Clifford John and Ruth Elizabeth (Mitchell) Mann. Raised in Denver, he received his education and graduated from high school there. After high school, he attended construction and automobile mechanic courses.

Mr. Mann lived with family most of his life and enjoyed traveling. He came to Seaside from Grand Junction, Colo., in 2007.

Family members said his special interest in life was simply to be with his family, and he had a special interest in his nieces and nephews.

He is survived by four sisters, Virginia E. Murdy of Seaside, Karen R. Camarillo and Sandra Cureton, both of Denver, and Barbara Hiles of Milleville, N.J.; a brother, John M. Mann of Denver; and more than 30 nieces and nephews.

No formal public service will be held.

Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society or Providence Seaside Hospital Cancer Treatment Ward, in care of Ocean View Cremation & Burial Service, 1213 Franklin Ave., Astoria, OR 97103.
