Ingaborg H. Crawford

Former Astoria resident, 83Ingaborg Hilfred Grotting Crawford, 83, of Irvine, Calif., died Monday, Sept. 1, 2003, in Orange County, Calif.

Mrs. Crawford was born Aug. 15, 1920 in Afjord, Norway, to Kristofer and Helga Grotting. She lived in Astoria during her childhood and early adult life.

On Aug. 15, 1941, she married Clifford N. Crawford in Astoria. He died in December 1979.

Mrs. Crawford is survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Maureen and Charles Davison of Newport Beach, Calif.; four sons and two daughters-in-law, John L. and Jilyn Crawford of Yucca Valley, Calif., Clifford N. Crawford Jr. of Oceanside, Calif., Christopher and Elaine Crawford of Eureka, Calif., and Gerald M. Crawford of Orange, Calif.; seven grandchildren, David and Kristine Fisk, Gerald M. Crawford Jr., and Cory, Heather, Schaffer and Dawkins Crawford; and a cousin, Borg Coleman of St. Helens.

A memorial service will be at 10 a.m. Sept. 23 at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, 4800 Irvine Center Drive, Irvine, CA 92604. For information, call (707) 443-1944. In lieu of flowers, donations are encouraged to a charity of one's choice.
