Daniel Howard Dan DanyanHi Williams, 34, of Seaside, died Friday, March 29, 2013, at Providence St. Vincent Hospital in Portland.
He was born July 25, 1978, in McMinnville, Oregon, to Lewis and Brenda (Leach) McKune. He graduated from 12th grade at Warrenton High School.
Dan did housekeeping at Best Western in Seaside, Oregon, drawing, photos, maintenance/housekeeping at Gearhart By the Sea. He also did side jobs with his dad.
He created beautiful drawings, and enjoyed writing stories, putting together scrap books and helping those less fortunate. He loved his family so much. He also loved waterfalls, music and movies, and could tell you all about a movie from the start and all the stars in it. As a sister said, he was a stylish guy. He was a jack of all trades, and wonderful at all of them. He was so loved and will truly be missed.
He is survived by his mother and father, Brenda and Lewis McKune of Warrenton; two brothers, Cliff Williams of Seaside and Brandon Williams of Warrenton; three sisters, Christina Secord and Heather McKune of Warrenton, and Cassandra Williams of Washington; eight nephews, Dante Williams of Seaside, Tyson, Trey and Trevor Secord of Warrenton, Armundo McKune of Seaside, Judis Williams of Warrenton and Meech and Malachi Williams of Washington; four nieces, Tianna, Teagan and Taylynn Secord of Warrenton, and Luiza McKune of Seaside; best cousin, Cathy Leach of Eugene and Dan and Debi Williams of Washington. There are many more cousins, aunts and uncles from everywhere.
He was preceded in death by Velva and Howard Leach and Janet and Missy Holyfield.
A celebration of life and potluck will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, April 6, at Best Western in Seaside.
