Dawn Marie Morse, 34, of Astoria, died Wednesday, May 16, 2007, in Portland.

She was born Nov. 20, 1972, in McMinnville, to Larry and Chris (Bennett) Morse. Her parents survive, living in Astoria.

She was raised in McMinnville. In 1985, the family moved to Astoria. She lived with her parents.

Family members said she loved being with family, friends and going camping.

In addition to her parents, she is survived by a sister, Ginger Morse of Astoria; a niece, Cheyanne Morse of Astoria; and a grandmother, Edna Morse of Newberg.

A viewing will be held from noon to 5 p.m. Friday at Hughes-Ransom Mortuary in Astoria.

A funeral will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday at Hughes-Ransom Mortuary in Astoria, Oregon.

A graveside service will be held at noon May 29 at Ocean View Cemetery in Warrenton.

Memorial contributions may be made to Doernbecker Children's Hospital or the National Federation of the Blind of Oregon, in care of Hughes-Ransom Cremation & Mortuaries, 576 12th St., Astoria, OR 97103.
