Henry Gerald "Jerry" Lawson, 73, of Seaside, died Friday, Feb. 20, 2009, in Seaside.

He was born Feb. 7, 1936, in Roseburg, to Henry Lawson and Juanita Hamburger. His parents preceded him in death.

He served in the U.S. Air Force as a radio operator, traveling throughout Europe and Africa.

Mr. Lawson was a property appraiser for Multnomah County for about 30 years.

He is survived by two sons, Jonathan Lawson of Ballwin, Mo., and Timothy Lawson of Portland; two daughters, Bethany Lawson of Seaside and Hannah Lawson of Ballwin; two grandchildren, Victoria and TJ Lawson of Oregon City; and a sister, Carolyn Hazen of Gearhart.

No formal service will be held.

Hughes-Ransom Cremation & Mortuaries in Seaside is in charge of the arrangements.
